Comforting Hands and Compassionate Hearts

Nancy Hubbard, Diane Hulse, Lisa May

We mourn for those loved and lost. Mourning is one of the deepest expressions in complete accord with divine commandment. “Thou shalt live together in love, insomuch that thou shalt weep for the loss of them that die” D&C 42:45. How do we comfort those around us who are mourning their lost loved ones? President Uchtdorf said “When I think of the Savior, I often picture Him with hands outstretched, reaching out to comfort, heal, bless, and love...As we emulate His perfect example, our hands can become His hands; our eyes, His eyes; our heart, His heart.”
