Family Service Projects: Teaching Your Characters Character

Leah Voorhies, Rachel Pommerening

As Latter–Day Saints we serve others in many different capacities. As we include our families in this service we teach our children character: those include gratitude, compassion, kindness, charity, respect, and family unity. Family service projects can take place close to home or across the world. This is something we can all do together the young and the old. Let’s make service a family tradition.
