Be a Lighthouse in the Storm!

Lighthouses have served weary sailors for centuries. The first one built in the United States was placed in the Boston Harbor in 1716. There are now over 1000 in the US and thousands more around the world. Each of them shine their light and guide sailors to their home port. Amidst the waves and the storms, the light shines to bring them safely home. Their guiding light is important and necessary. When a person has a mental illness, they may feel alone and lost. They need the love, hope, and support of their loved ones to guide them through the storm of mental illness. Their loved one becomes a lighthouse in their storm.
