Not-So-Secret Service

As Latter-Day Saints, we embrace our commitment to service. Indeed, service is an essential component of Gospel Doctrine. Mosiah 2:17 states: "And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are in the service of your God." Where else do our children learn this desire and commitment to serve but in our homes? From an early age, our children learn to serve through our own examples and through service opportunities within our own homes. Come and gather ideas about how to teach your children service, how to teach them to recognize when they are being served, and how service is an integral doctrine of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
