Helen Keller once said, "My darkness has been filled with the light of intelligence." We all have the opportunity to be filled with light every day be fostering the love of reading in our lives. Having a close encounter might be a mother who gathers her young children on her lap to share a hug, a story and some quality time together. It might be a sister who has a close encounter with the spirit while searching and pondering the scriptures. It could be any encounter with a book, a magazine or some form of reading that enlightens our minds, lifts our spirits and helps us to become better.
