In the vision of the tree of life, those who made it through the mists of darkness and dangers of this world to partake of eternal life, and the joy of God’s love, were those who held on tight to the iron rod, the word of God. Each woman is a pioneer when it comes to establishing the spiritual strength of her own home. You may have grown up in a home with a tradition of family scripture study, and that is an advantage, but not a necessity for helping your family “get a grip” on the iron rod, by studying and pondering the scriptures as a family.
