Do you like to get your hands dirty? Do you like to be outside? Do you want vegetables from your own garden? Or would you just like to make up your own planters and/or pots? It can be done with just a bit of earth, as was said in the book The Secret Garden. Start your plantings early with a greenhouse. It can be large or small, just get your seeds going. Involve your children by helping them plant and water. They will be excited to see the fruit of their labor as they watch the greenhouse grow. Hey, maybe they will even eat more veggies!
