We Can Make the Pathway Bright

President Uchtdorf has counseled us “My dear sisters, the gospel of Jesus Christ is not an obligation, it is a pathway, marked by our loving Heavenly Father, leading to happiness and peace in this life and glory and inexpressible fulfillment in the life to come” Often we get so caught up in our duties and responsibilities as members of the church that they seem to be more of an obligation than a stepping stone on our pathway back to our Heavenly Father. We can find joy in the journey and make the pathway bright as we strive for more meaningful Prayer, Scripture Study, Family Home Evening, Visiting Teaching and Temple Attendance by focusing on the happiness and eternal blessings that come from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
